Trump is preparing an executive order to end ALL African activity and diplomacy in the State Department, and close ALL embassies on the continent.

I get it, we really do need to get a hold of our debt. I just don't think Trump and his administration are going about it correctly. This really needed to be a bi-partisan process. Also, shutting embassies throughout Africa (and the rest of the world) is extremely short-sighted.
No we don't lol. The debt is not an issue.

How does this affect us regular 9 to 5 working brehs ?

:jbhmm:

It empowers China. It accelerates China’s path as the top world power. The same China that has 80% of the world’s AI patents. Thr current job landscape as you know it will be overhauled. So in 10 years you won’t have a “9-5” to go to.

But who cares about thinking ahead, dis good for FBA :obama:

Sounds like a good thing for Africa

It actually is..

The average African person doesn't know what purpose America serves in their day to day lives..they do not use American products or eat American food as America has very little trade with Africa, so America going will have no adverse effects and no one will notice...

Netflix is probably the only American product Africa uses and would miss :manny:

If you look at the debt and the cost of embassies in African countries you’ll see that this has nothing to do with the debt.

Expensive embassies are the very large ones.

JD Vance being on an endless world tour with like 200 people probably costs 100 times more than Elon Musk shutting down financial literacy courses for impoverished women or cancelling political magazine subscriptions at the state department.

These people are just pure populist that fool their cult members. The federal budget is like 7-8 trillion and these cats will say “look we saved 1 billion, the government is so efficient now, we need to be fiscally responsible” while simultaneously proposing tax cuts

What’s worrisome here isn’t just that you’re ignorant. Its that you’re so CONFIDENT in being ignorant

This isn’t a corporation pulling out of Africa, it’s the State Department. This ain’t got shyt to do with “products” :what:

It’s humanitarian aide and relief. It literally saves lives. And not just out the good of our hearts, of course the US always works for its own interest. But that interest is not monetary, it’s preventative. Bc for every instance of widespread famine and corruption it increases a void for criminality and rogue states and the likelyhood of world terror or in this case being used by others for world terror. It’s a drop in the bucket to stop problems before they become problems
