Yup. Found a loophole.
  • Withhold federal funds from states that don’t cooperate with requirements in the order;

Now this here leaves an opening for Democratic billionaires to swoop in and offer the funds to whichever state is being unjustly deprived. of course with that money comes a few stipulations that don’t need to be obvious.

If it is a democratic governor in a state reliably republican, even better.

This is illegal. A president doesn't have this authority. Election laws are controlled by states and Congress, not the White House. He can't unilaterally change voter registration rules, dictate how states count ballots, or withhold federal funds to force compliance.

Still, people shouldn't ignore this because it gives critical insight into how he plans to undermine elections in the future. Even if courts block it, the goal is to spread the idea that elections can't be trusted unless *they* win. The order might not have any real legal standing, but that won't stop Red states from adhering to the "spirit" of it to further disenfranchise voters.

With out a change he can't legally get on the ballot

Please look at amendment 20
Democrats really need to start moving differently with Trump. mockery, not fear. they made this mistake in 2024

i don't want to hear Dems whining about being scared of Trump running again; i want them to endorse him. get on TV and say "i can't wait to run against a fat, obese, 82 year old, low-energy Trump in 2028. he's too fat and old to run again; it would be doing us a huge favor"

I agree , just like these other countries need to ignore him & not get on tv whining about nonsense . If they all tell Washington to go kick rocks . The administration won't have any leverage to do anything . Panama by far was the biggest disappointment

One thing Trumpito is good at, as I loathe to say it, is that he knows how to plant seeds with his cult. If something is in his mind, he knows how to get it out to the rest of the hive mind.

A lot of those states are blue states. Blue states like California and New York are wealthy and contribute heavily to the economy. If these blue state governors would have some balls, call Trump's bluff. California and New York can handle it. Places like Mississippi, Arkansas, etc can't.
