Which means that up until 1917, TWISM's bloodline was danish - not American. Citizenship wasn't granted to inhabitants of the US Virgin Island until 1927. This means the 14th amendment which provides citizenship by birth on sovereign soil was EXTENDED to his family, in the same way it's extend to every child of undocumented immigrants in this country today.

At this point, I would love to know if his parents are actually from the Virgin Islands, or just 20th century anchor babies. That would probably be one of the greatest ironies of HL history. Either way:
