This isn't Trump's direct purpose. You're trying to make it Trump's purpose. Biden has nothing to do with the 2016 situation.

I stand by all of my posts. Mulvaney needed to talk about the Biden family. Because regardless of what people say or think, Biden is Trump's number 1 political opponent and potential 2020 challenger. That's the basis for Impeachment. Hurting Biden and helping Trump in 2020. That's the only article of impeachment related to foreign inference that carries significant weight. If you then try to turn it around and put an article of impeachment simply for 2016 and the DNC server, that looks weak and Republicans in the Senate will wipe their ass with that.

Republicans in the Senate are going to wipe their ass with any impeachment attempt regardless, that's just how it is.

Maybe Dems can convince some swing voters but they might as well act on the assumption that impeachment is going to fail in the Senate regardless. Because it will and there's no point in them deluding themselves otherwise.

Im going to make a bold prediction and say they will remove him once their backs are against the wall after more and more incriminating information comes out.

Agreed but I will take it a bit further and say they are looking to jump ship now. You can see it they are using the the pullout in Turkey as cover. Romney’s speech yesterday laid the ground work for the Senate to remove trump and use Turkey specifically as the sole cause. If they trump up out the paint by thanksgiving that will give the gop time to put someone else on the ticket.... and who would that be? Romney.. he won’t will plus he still retains his senate seat

Trump is so brazen that only his cult will deny the obvious crimes. Impeachment is a win win.

If the GOP decides to convict, he is out of here. 2020 is a lock.

If the GOP refuses to convict, he is severely wounded going into 2020 and so is the GOP Senate Majority.
