Intetesting how so many black people agree with the sentiment that illegal immigrants are a threat to African Americans without even realizing that they are supporting the white man’s narrative that illegals with no education or skill set are in the same category/level as black Americans.

You never see the white man comparing illegals to any other ethnicity or race besides black people because they put black people and uneducated illegals in the same category and black people roll with it.

Those same low wage jobs might help a black person save up for a car, pay for trade school or simply help them pay for the necessities to live so they can stay off the street. I know young black kids who worked 8.50/hr cleaning jobs when the alternatives was them selling work on the corner

Understandable but illegals are not going after minimum wage jobs. They’re going after jobs where they won’t get caught and that’s usually under the table jobs that are less than minimum wage. This is a ploy by the right to shift black american’s focus onto immigration rather than the focus on securing higher/equal wages.

Black Americans speak the language and are able to go to a trade school while illegals aren’t. While black people have great disadvantages in this society, more than any other race, they still have the upper hand over illegal/South American immigrants whether you believe it or not so stop putting yourself in the same category.

I'm no Democrat stan which is obvious from the part of my post where I said they pretend not to hate us. But what were Republicans doing when the civil rights bill was being signed? What plan do Republicans have to address crumbling infrastructure in mostly black neighborhoods? How many black prisoners who were locked up over bullshyt did Republican presidents pardon? What plan do Republicans have for fixing food deserts in our communities? What plan do Republicans have to make healthcare more affordable for us who struggle every day? What is the Republican plan for predatory loans that plunge us into debt? What are the Republican plans to address the police shootings and white supremacists infiltrating the military and law enforcement? What are Republicans doing to cut down on our tax dollars going to an apartheid state like Israel?

The democratic party is slowly inching toward democratic socialism which is what the country needs. I dislike the centrist and slow moving CAC section of the democratic party. I at least see that there are some demo socialists who speak on this issue on that side. What do the Republicans have to offer other than fear?

It's an obvious scam and anyone who falls for it deserves what they get.

You're better off voting for a party that does the minimum to help black people than the party that consistently puts shyt in our way.

we are not fighting for low wage jobs, we are making a realistic assessment of the economic situation and realizing that entry level jobs and low skilled jobs are an important part of the black economy and securing higher wages means making sure the labor market is not flooded which is exactly what the democrats want to do

its already been posted how illegal immigration and latino racism has effected black people negatively, so unless you post evidence to the contrary you arent really saying anything

second of all, the stated goal of the party opposing trump is to make every illegal immigrant a citizen, and in the interim give them healthcare and scholarships while refusing to do anything specifically for black people, so its really you that are trying to distract from whats really going on
