I started last week. That show is running laps around this boring ass season of True Dementia. nikkaz hyping the final scene with 2 old men chatting for 5 minutes like that shyt makes up for over a month of nothing happening with the actual story.
Y'all swear shyt like this makes y'all feel like you're extra intelligent or intellectually superior or some shyt
Season 1 had similar pacing yet wasn't as much as a drag as this season's been. They didn't keep drawing from the same well over and over again with Matt & Woody as far as their characters were concerned just for the sake of extended storytelling. They pushed the plot forward each episodes while STILL maintaining the whole "who done it" mystery and unearthing clues that this season is attempting to do at a much meandering pace that can be all over the place at times. Nobody is saying this shyt is trash though cuz its still good TV but nikkas acting like you gotta say this shyt is the "GOAT" or die or some shyt
I figured I'd get those type of responses, the high and mighty posters who can't stand to see any criticism of this show. I can take a slow pace as long as the story progresses. We are on episode 5 and the story has hardly had any progression whatsoever. We aren't any closer to knowing what happened to those kids and whodunit than we were in episode 1. But if I am not entertain by nothing happening then I am apart of the microwave oven society.

Yeah, this show like a lot of HBO shyt is over hyped. I will definitely finish but I don't have high expectations.
Season 1 had great performances and a memorable action scene. But the finale was kinda meh.
Season 2 had too many characters and the acting was a huge drop off from Season 1.
This season has good acting but the story doesn't even seem True Detective worthy. Season 2's story had more to it than this shyt.

I'm gonna be disappointed if there isn't some intense reveal regarding Amelia.
Oh who am I kidding....she'll probably just end up as a red herring like Vince Vaughn's wife in S2.
