1990's Amelia comes over salty and vindictive as fukk but she would get that back BROKE with her sassy ass mouth when she gets angry. Raw & Regret all damn day; no pull out.

And it's tough seeing Wanye flounder as an old man. Breh literally has nothing but memories and thoughts about shyt he cant go back and fix. That house is the only thing left and it's a fukking haunted house.

The way these CACs test Wayne is insane for a cop on his level. Breh wanted to see that damn log book in the evidence room and that had to spaz out on that officer just to get it. Meanwhile, Wayne digging deep into this (or any case) is ultimately to his detriment even tho he probably solved the whole damn thing. But in the 10 years since the original case, his wife's book comes out, his partner rises up the ranks along with finding love (and buying a house) and the world just fukking moves on until the case re-awakens from that print they found at the drug store.

Only one worse off was Trashman and after he literally blew up the block there was no fukking way out and he KNEW no excuse in the world Wayne could cook up would get him outta that one. Those CACs were gonna find someone to hang that boy's murder on and it was gonna be Trashman or some random black person at that trailer park.

what became clear with the conversation between old man Haze & Roland, was that Wayne sees the solving of this case as vindication for his entire career and life. If he can actually solve it, he'll have peace and a "fukk You" to all the people he feels got in his way along the way.
Hes probably the one that planted the evidence

It's pretty clear the Wayne killed this cop, the real question is if Roland was in on it, helped with, or helped cover it and that caused the strain:jbhmm:

we also have yet to see the people in suits who went around asking questions

What would be the reason for killing him? I understand if Harris tries to kill him, and he kills Harris in retaliation. And if he's killed in retaliation and West knows this, why wouldn't this shift the focus to Harris and his associates, as opposed to Woodard? If you suspect this guy planted evidence or knows anything about the whereabouts of Julie, it wouldn't make sense to "murder" him....which is how it sounds when West and Hays are talking. If it was accidental....maybe...I get the cover-up notion.

Out of curiosity, how did Amelia die? We've seen no pictures of her as an elderly person. No memories from Wayne of her being anything, but the age when he met her. Is she dead or run off pretending to be someone else?

Yep, they should stick to SVU....where everything is wrapped up in 60 minutes
I think it's more the generation raised with Netflix....where you can sit up all night and finish a season, get all the theories answered right away, and subsequently bytch about how long the next season will take to come out. Patience...no longer an appreciated virtue.

nikkaz making excuses for this boring ass BS season.:childplease:Nothing has happened in 5 episodes. Just admit ya'll as lost as everyone else. Dragging people along for 5 episodes with no real suspect or motive is just bad storytelling and stretching a season longer than it needs to be.

:hhh: man i hope not. This shyt better not turn into No Country for Old Brokeback Mountain.
I'm not talking sexual intimacy man. Lol.

If it’s so predictable who did it? What happened to Julie? No shyt it’s an inside job/conspiracy, that doesn’t tell us much
They haven’t even solved it in the current timeline
I don't know those details. In that sense it's not predictable. No clue who did it. Whatever happened, the dad was linked somehow. Towns folk are also linked. I think the native American man had knowledge of what sort of things were going on. I outlined plot twists that structure the show. It's only my theory. I could be wrong.

I think it depends on what is finally revealed. One of the brehs in here mentioned that it seems whatever is at the root of the mystery here has been foreshadowed throughout the season and it certainly seems that way.

If we just end up getting a lame reveal and look back at all the clues as red herrings then it will be bad storytelling.

Microwave oven society, brehs

This show is not for those who can’t handle details and a slow pace

Y'all swear shyt like this makes y'all feel like you're extra intelligent or intellectually superior or some shyt :russ:

Season 1 had similar pacing yet wasn't as much as a drag as this season's been. They didn't keep drawing from the same well over and over again with Matt & Woody as far as their characters were concerned just for the sake of extended storytelling. They pushed the plot forward each episodes while STILL maintaining the whole "who done it" mystery and unearthing clues that this season is attempting to do at a much meandering pace that can be all over the place at times. Nobody is saying this shyt is trash though cuz its still good TV but nikkas acting like you gotta say this shyt is the "GOAT" or die or some shyt :mjlol:

Nah, breh....it's not like that. I think there are people who are more willing to let Pizzolatto play out his hand before complaining about the pacing. The payoff might be worth it. Trust me...if this fizzles out or turns into some season 2 type nonsense, a lot of people will be just as critical about it.
