its crazy this thread is just like the convo with my homies... it really takes away from the greatness of the actual show if all u care about is how ur gonna be tricked in the end... and whether or not you can call it...

its just a really good show, im loving this season as much as any single season of a show in the 2010s

I can't front man I used to hate on him a little bit. He's been killing it like no other. That new Nolan flick's teaser wasn't all that great but now I'm even more hyped about it knowing that MM has the lead role. Dude is a savage these days.

I definitely read it as he's basically declaring "Rust/Marty are not the killer".

man people are forgetting both marty and rust hint that they think the real killer got away. Neither acts like they finished the job back in 97 so yeah I don't think their the killers but I do think they both know or suspect who it really is. Somebody that couldn't be touched legally back in 97.

I think the governor is on it or may be the killer himself. With the whole emphasis of Cohle shytting on Christianity and the governor threatening to replace them with an Anti-Christian investigation squad, it sets up nicely.
