HBO could get A list actors for next season of True Detective. You better believe all the actors are watching McConaughey and Woody and are like why the fukk didn't my agent get me this gig.

No lie, I could see Tom Hanks and Denzel doing this for 3 million each for 3 months work. Seriously. I bet HBO goes big with the actors for season 2. And remember Tom Hanks has a producing deal with HBO, he's already in the family.

The killer in 2012 is Martin . All clues point to that. He story to the cops is a beautiful set up job to point the cops in Rust direction .

dont think so...if he wanted to jam rust up, he wouldnt have covered for him with the dad/leave of absence story...and he wouldnt still have rust back the way he's had it so far...

Rust knew Marty would check in on him at the bar and thus connect the dots and drive to beaumont 10 miles away. How else would be so precise with the directions and timing "i need to meet me at emlia street between 18th and 19th in 90 seconds" if he thought Marty was stuck at the bar. And thats the funny part, Rust has Marty and most people supremely figured out man, its crazy how cerebral dude is.

yo that whole scene when rusty was telling marty what was about to go down was good because of the weird energy rusty was giving off..."keep that motherfukker on and close man" he was getting into character because he didn't even know how that shyt was gonna go down

Which goes to show that Rusty knew what he was going to have to do to earn back ginger's trust but he went ahead with it all along. tho he said right after he snatched Ginger for the first time that " i should have done this from the beginning" which means he really wanted to get into some fukkery instead of just plain snatching Ginger up.

Really tho he coulda snatched ginger up

1) When they were getting zooted and making plans at the base camp ( tho he would've had to kill 4 other members )
2) or when just him and ginger were outside of the Iron Crusaders base camp politikin ( tho noise might attract other members of the gang to him )
2) He coulda killed the members while he was riding in the car with them

at the end of the day, as fukked up and nihilistic as he is...he's a cop...can't just go killing people willy nilly without a justifiable reason...

He knew Marty didnt really know what it was like to go undercover and who they were about to be dealing with......he had to make it clear..."nicca, this shyt might get real, have this damn phone on!"

I read somewhere that when they show Marty's name in a report that it's in all caps HART, and someone else said that when someone is a suspect they put the name in all caps to distinguish from anyone else (family) whose name might appear in a report.
