Sometimes you gotta cite the creator because people go on for pages typing out paragraphs, then when shyt doesn't turn out how they guessed they say the show fell off, or a character was ruined, or whatever. Which is exactly what happened. The thread was fine until Rust fukked Maggie, then all hell broke loose.

Pretty much.

Also, even the writer's intent should not be absolute gospel. What is presented to the audience is equally as important.

If the above were not true, almost nothing could ever be judged as being bad or subpar because mainly all creators think their intent is valid.

Case in point, Yoko Ono doing "art":

Start at the 5:20 mark, and keep your eyes on Yoko Loco.

Who is the Yellow King? And is the pastor of the mega church a Tuttle? If so was he involved in the rape and murders or just the cover up?

Also how did Marty's ex wife end up so wealthy in that big house?

Who is the Yellow King: this is tough, because there are two legit options: Steph Curry and Jeremy Lin.

1. That's like asking "who is the devil"? It's a figure they worship, that's it. It was never meant to be an actual person. Errol might consider himself The Yellow King, same as a serial killer might run around telling people he's Satan. A longer explanation is the Lovecraft shyt....which they referenced with the weird space hurricane Rust seen....but to keep it simple it's just something they worship.

2. The pastor of the mega church was a Tuttle. They were involved in molestation and ritual sacrifices but the crime scenes Rust/Marty found were the white trash off shoot of that, the Childress/LeDouxs.

3. I assume she remarried a rich guy. In one of the pictures when Marty is talking to her in ep 7 it looks like she's with him in front of the Louvre.

Yoko Ono was like the Slo Down of the Beatles.

First 5 EPs were def dope and unfukkwitable. I liked the finale and thought the Errol was a good villain just kind of ended like every other Hollywood film where the bad guy gets killed in predictable fashion and the heros are wounded severely but survive. Very cliche but show was still top notch.

Only problem is the stannery for the creator of this show is and will be off the charts for a long time. Def deserves praise no doubt but it will get unbareable lol
