True Detective Season 1 (NO SPOILERS)

Back in this thread for the first time since finale, read a few reviews from professional/paid writers and had to fall back.

Some of these brehs show their level of intellect by not being able to deduce how cops knew to show up there but want to theorize, write dissertations about to show and rank it. Bu bu but they never show him finding the phone, making a call and giving the exact coordinates slow mothefukkas.

People can't enjoy shyt these days. Everything has to be ranked put into brackets, hall of fames and Mount Rushmores. Then you got these brehs living vicariously through Rust, mad that show is able to make him an actual three dimensional character and not a loner, kung-fu know-it-all they can worship.

other thoughts about the rest of the thread:

- what the hell going on in here? why cats going at each other over bullshyt?...we had a damn good season shooting the shyt, no reason to end it like that...

- to continue on the last point: i hope no one was taking the shyt being thrown out as that's what people thought would literally happen...I know I threw out some wild shyt cause I was saying whatever was coming to my mind after watching the show and shooting the shyt with yall...I didn't actually think the shyt i was throwing out was gonna happen nor that's how the show would end...if it did, that just would've been a hell of a coincidence...

- still tripping off how many people say they were let down by the finale....hell, the last couple episodes....this whole season was about writing and acting, and the last couple episodes were some of the best examples of that...

- as for the end of the investigation, yall tripping with that happy ending shyt...the only thing happy about the ending is that they caught the lawnmower man and rust/marty got they shyt together....other than that: the governor still got away, the cult still continued, more people still got killed cause lawnmower man got away in 95, many people's lives were and will continued to be fukked up cause of what happened, etc....I mean, damn, let them have a glimmer of hope/happiness...think the ending was bout as realistic as you could get: it's still a lot of darkness out there, but light is fighting the good fight...that's all you can ask....

- if people need a 'yellow king', that would be sam tuttle..he started all that shyt and would be the one they 'worshipped'...
