Thats been like his cover tho right…..serial killers, dudes who brutalize young girls in ritualistic and symbolic fashion aren't (generally) people who interact with a lot of people, in a 'normal sense', they are going to be guys in menial jobs, that spend a lot of time alone, work with their hands, the fact that he's disfigured just adds to that rationale, (most killers in that vein are disfigured, or believe themselves to be in some way)….jobs like a butcher shop, stocking shelfs in the late night, bakery something overnight, groundskeeping would be right in there…

One thing I'm curious about is are Ledoux also b*stardized versions of the Tuttle family? Why those two dudes?

Yes, the grandfather tuttle had a bunch of b*stards and the ledeux's were one family line of them, the lawnmower guy comes from another. The Senator/Govenor and Reverend come from his legitimate family line. So they all were likely cousins.

They won't, I can almost guarantee it. The creator of this show name-drops Lovecraft, Ligotti, Chambers....these stories do not end well, nor do most of them have resolution in the traditional sense of the word. I wouldn't be surprised if Rust and Marty die, take down the lawnmower man, but the larger cult continues to operate. That ending would be 100% inline with the authors this guy mentions.

Fred.

Rust and Marty die.

Mouzone and his partner continue the investigation.

Time is a flat circle

the lawnmower guy comes from another.

The lawnmower guy is from the Childress line. A couple minor characters (the cop that filed the Marie Fontenot report, the cop that talked to the drug store robber that committed suicide) were Childresses too.

Only complaint/issue I have with lawnmower man is that in both his appearances, he's on a lawnmower. Like they didn't have anything else to make you remember him from his first appearance, so they just put on him on a lawnmower again. The evil cultist, mass murdering rapist, who spends his spare time on a lawnmower mowing various lawns.

I dunno what kind of resolution you're watching this in but the scars were visible both times he was on screen. The fact that he's on a lawnmower has more to do with the guy is a serial killer than some kind of visual signifier for the audience. Like this guy said:

i specifically went back and watched the second episode (or whatever it was) where Rust first speaks to the dude on the lawnmower, the scars weren't really visible, but on the last episode they were. I don't know if it was the angle/lighting or what when we first see him.

They were for a second....literally a second, you have to pause it....when he turns because Marty called Rust back to the car. This isn't the best resolution but it's what I got for now:

I'll upload a higher reso later if you want.
