I just caught up on the show. Watched the first 4 last night (thought I'd only watch 1 lol) and the final two now. The reason I prefer movies over TV is because you gotta invest a lot into TV.
Anyways, show is crazy. The cinematography like those long shots where it shows us those rural areas. Majority of us are from big city people so stuff like that is out of the norm for us, it looks so relaxing and in my opinion, mysterious. Anything can happen in those fields...
The show does a great job at being eerie. Like the scene with the reverend in the last episode, they started off it with showing him from the side, we couldn't see the front of his face and that whole time I thought he was who that girl in the mental hospital was referring to, the guy with scars on his face. But it wasnt...
One of my top 10 films is Zodiac, at times the film reminds me of it. To find a good captivating mystery film/tv show is very hard to find.
All the chicks are bad in the show. The wife is mad cute, definition of wifey. Pretty and cute, and shorty got ass . I don't think that's a body double. You can tell she has bubble there. The only reason we aint think so was cause majority of the time she's rocking skirts as it's warm in Louisiana.
You know what's crazy? As guys we would've all anybody who smashed Marty's wife... but we're so into Rust as a man and the story, we didn't want him to smash. Any other time we would've wanted to, even I was like don't man. Nonetheless.......
What's crazy about the show is that it sets the bar for every single season after. Like they gotta bring their A-Game next season. It should be something very different, totally diff setting, dialogue, etc.
Shoutout the writer/creator, man came out of nowhere with something of such quality.
Sometimes the show is too much too handle. The Wire and Breaking Bad I can follow with all the little clues and symbolism, sometimes with Rust's dialogue it goes over my head
