Anybody else questioned why Dora Lange's murder was displayed so publicly when every other murder before and after was kept in silence? I feel like there is some signficance to that.
I meant to respond to this yesterday but I forgot.
I have a feeling the people committing the blatant ritualistic murders aren't actually part of the cult.
When you hear about the cult it's always "it's big, important people", "rich men", etc. The first time we see Reggie LeDoux he's walking through the woods in his underwear carrying a machete.
There is no way they'd associate with someone like him. There is an obvious disconnect between who the cult is supposed to be, and who we've seen so far.
So I think Reggie and the guys doing the copy cat killings were abused/molested by the cult, and they're just acting out what they've seen. I think Tuttle, maybe his cousin the governor, etc. are the big dogs in the cult.
