Marty went hunting with his father in law and shot a ten point buck.

If the father in law is hunting like that for antlers, he must be putting them somewhere...

In the drawings that they found of the daughter's, she drew a man with a mask on touching a girl with her hands tied behind her back. She couldn't have thought of this on her own.

Notice he's wearing a mask, unlike the other pictures in the book.

I hope this show doesn't get me in trouble at work. I've been doing some research on the show/pics and of course the creepy stuff pops up a lot.

probably going to have to be an "at home only" research project

If Mary and Rust did have a falling out, maybe it was something related to his father in law and daughter. Like Rust finds out that the old man is involved with the cult, tells Marty and tries to make a connection to his daughter. Marty can't take it and cuts Rust off? :ld:

Rust would be so disappointed in us for borrowing ideas and thoughts from other sites, or using their research to expound on other ideas.

Nah man in the show Rust was looking through old evidence he didn't personally gather, he'd be like :obama:at us using all these resources to crack the case.

Besides, you'd be surprised how much shyt gets stolen from this site.

Seriously man, is it that hard to put spoiler tags in? If it's from an upcoming episode, it takes two seconds. The same thing happened in the breaking bad thread. I'm sorry if I'm overreacting.
You are overreacting , every scene is from the first trailer and from the making of True Detective that is on YouTube , matter of fact in the making video there is a scene of Rust speaking on the case in the future and you see them Marty and Rust drinking a beer in 2012. If I really posted something that is not out there it would be in a tag. If you go to the True Detective Facebook page , they drop a huge gem there about a case. I'm not posting that but it's on Facebook .

I remember when season 5 of "Breaking Bad" started and I explained the connection between Gus and Augusto Pinochet. I had a long ass post with links and pictures and all kinds of shyt....and the thread was massive, so the next time someone asked about it I went to Google to look for my post, because it would've been faster than a thread search or re-typing it all out.

And I found it, because somebody had taken my entire post, and put it on another board like "hey guys, look what I figured out". And it was a random site, like body-building or some shyt. I was gonna register and blow up their spot but :yeshrug: it's not that deep.
