Was he an owner-operator?? If he was the he was NEGLIGENT on his part and killed 4 people because of his negligence…they threw the book because HE KNEW the brakes were bad and refused to do anything about it. I doubt a black male truck driver would receive the same sympathy from you “brehs”.

Affluenza teen (Ethan couch) :sas2:

Couch was indicted on four counts of intoxication manslaughter for recklessly driving under the influence. In December 2013, Judge Jean Hudson Boyd sentenced Couch to ten years of probation, subsequently ordering him to undergo therapy at a long term inpatient facility. Before sentencing, Couch's attorneys had argued that Couch had "affluenza" and needed rehabilitation instead of prison, arguing that Couch had no understanding of boundaries as his affluent parents had never given him any.

Nah he needed all 110 of them thangs.

He aint turn on the hazard lights or nothing.
He aint lay on the horn to try to get people out his way.
He didn't take the runaway truck exit.
The brakes pedal probably been slowly going down to the floor for a while before reaching the point of being completely out.

The negligence when operating the vehicle and complete disregard for his fellow man is grounds to get him out of here FOR GOOOD.

As for the company that hired him, they need to be sued to hell and back for putting him on the road IF the assumption that his ability to read English was so poor, he couldn't understand the runway truck sign is true

That's how fast people usually go on the expressway.

Not a semi truck breh.. If it was a company truck, most are governed at 65 mph.. So if he was going 85 mph coming out of the mountains, he should've known he wasn't getting control of that truck back, and should've ran into the run away ramp a long time before the collision..

He should've never been behind the wheel. One of the more horrific accidents I've ever seen and was obviously a big story here in Colorado. The sentence surprised me too tho.

I think he hasn’t been driving that long and dude panicked. His brakes went out while he was going downhill and the worst thing that could possibly happen happened.
