if he was going downhill with a load then yeah i could see him easily getting up to eighty five, aint no telling what actually happened.
That's like burning someone at the stake even though the whole village testified in their favour.I dont see him not trying to take that runaway ramp unless there was a car in the way. Could have very well been not trained to slow down those truck without relying heavily on the brakes such as droppin down to a lower gear, using the jake brake (thats that loud rappin sound trucks make sometimes) . If the brakes fail on semi’s they are designed to fail while they are being applied opposed to not being able to step on them.
i read about this yesterday and i remember a part where the judge even said he shouldnt get this much time it was just a rules n regulations thing
his training was probably ass whoever gave him the license probably need to answer for that shyt as wellSo he was going 85 while riding the shoulder to avoid hitting someone. I'm no truck driver so I don't know how this shyt works. But could the momentum of him going down hill with no brakes push the truck to 85mph without him hitting the gas. And I wonder why he didn't take advantage of the runaway truck ramp. Didn't even know that was a thing until now.
Witnesses say his breaks were smoking for a while so I don't think he's lying about that. Seems like he panicked and missed every safety measure in place to keep something like this from happening.HIS STORY DOESNT ADD UP.
HE REALIZED HIS BREAKS
ALLEGEDLY WERENT WORKING
AND STILL DECIDED TO PASS THAT
RUNAWAY TRUCK RAMP MILES
BEFORE THE ACCIDENT...
IT WAS PUT THERE
FOR THAT SPECIFIC REASON.
Cant say I agree with that sentencing. He needs to do some time, but life? Over an accident? That's not right. People who intentionally commit homicide have gotten less time. This country is trash.
If you're going downhill of a mountain with 80000lbs and no brakes, how fast would be going? Brehitto probably had his Jakes on but what's that going to do."Investigators estimated he was going at least 85 miles an hour just before the crash".
Nah the the runaway truck ramp wouldn't have killed him. They are designed to slow the truck down to a stop. Not like it ends into a brick wall.It said the ramp was going downhill. I'm no truck driver either but I imagine that wouldn't have done anything but possibly kill him with how fast he was going. I can't imagine being in that situation, he probably panicked.
Because driving recklessly and vehicular manslaughter is illegal you retard.
