Good advice. HFD is pretty good about rooftop rescues based on how they reacted during Allison. It'll be awhile before the waters go down too.

Dam. I was going to suggest you make it to my house but I'm down south closer to Pearland. My only advice is to stay put if you are in a safe place. It was bad last night when I was out so I know it's only getting worse.

Don't have a choice but to stay if we can get to we'll go to my parents.

I'm in Kingwood.

Naw so far we are riding it out. Haven't lost any services and my neighborhood is drivable. Major roads of Kingwood have flooded(and receded) and a few tornadoes were spotted about 10 miles away in Atascocita. Overall we've been very fortunate.

I haven't had any sleep really. Been in my brothers truck for hours parked. The water was rushing into my house and we got out. I had, had a plan but something's happened and I am so unprepared. I have nothing.

I think it's going to get worse and I think if not already I will lose everything. I don't even know what to do. I'm just here. I didn't want to post but I don't know what else to do. I don't want to speak out loud. But this is eating me up. It kind of feels like shock but not.

The news talking about they don't see many people on the freeway and they are taking credit for it for "warning" people. It's 0400 on a Sunday morning wtf did they expect?

just saw a video where a chick posted the interstate from her 24th story window...the whole downtown is quiet as hell, one or two cars out on the interstate the whole time she was recording

she said she'd never seen that interstate empty before in her life

We are trying to figure out how get away from the area. A lot of bayous over here and I already saw those huge dump truck heading towards my neighborhood to rescue people. People wading in water. So I'm like just expecting the worse.
