My family is mainly in Alief/Mission Bend ... when I checked in with them yesterday afternoon, they told me it was primarily a lot of rain and flooding out there, but they were safe

My street is completely submerged in water but thankfully, none has reached my house. The rain seems to be subsiding but only temporarily, I'm sure.
