Hall won the IC belt multiple times, and was on his way to probably multiple world titles before he left the company.

Waltman got a huge push to start his career thanks to Hall.

Mabel was an all Vince thing. Just like the Owen/Bret feud. He loved the idea of 2 brothers fighting each other on his TV.
