Its softcore porn at this point but to be fair these guys use NXT as a stan war fodder sine the Vince scandal last year, NXT can be great at times but its still a dev show.

I think a lot of it too is that the black wrestlers are treated as important/in important storylines compared to the main roster.

But in feel like everyone in general lets the imperfections of NXT slide because its developmental and they’re still learning.

If someone wants to say they don't like the NXT storylines that's cool but when people say NXT is the best weekly show (I'm not one of them) ...and actually mean it... it's probably because they do a good job of trying to establish what someone's character/gimmick is and they tend to stick with it long enough that you feel rewarded for the journey

take something like Chase U, its basically a wrestler doing a Bob Knight gimmick by being a dikkhead coach in a sweater, on the surface its a goofy gimmick but because they stuck with it and actually kept at it, eventually people gave a fukk about Chase U adding new students or someone shutting down the "school" and the match they had a few weeks ago in the main event did a good number

they're also willing to try random shyt in NXT and see if it can sink or swim in a way that doesn't happen on the main roster bc the main roster has wrestlers who already have established characters plus there are more egos to look after and protect with the main event scene and upper mid card. In NXT dudes don't really be having clout like that to politic and so while they protect the main event guys, nobody is untouchable

I figured posters enjoy NXT because HBK properly books black talent. Which is a good reason.

But personally I might be spoiled with NXT I grew up with in college. It’s “developmental” but we were getting shyt like Gargano vs Almas.

So I be When posters say NxT the best brand out whenever I turn in on I see Je’von flying in the air missing his target or someone cutting high school quality acting in a segment.


NXT was the best brand when WWE main roster was ass and AEW didn’t exist.

This must be one of those things that fans let slide due to it being developmental that SOS was talking about because a lot of dudes do not have patience for characters or storylines to develop over a long period of time.
