Drew “Quit” to make Punk have a sense of security

So instead of him just showing up music in all on Smackdown

Him showing up outside the arena my for a better spectacle

This will lead to Punk either costing Drew the MITB match or cash in which will lead to a match at Summerslam than BaB ending at the rumored returning Bad Blood PLE in HitC

It’s long term booking at its finest with not one match between them yet

It isn’t that hard to understand

36 year old women that’s not a star already only has so much longer on that roster. Too bad for her

Damien priest became champion at the age of 41

People took that Vince don’t like older people in wrestling as a general rule and I don’t know why
It’s like we ignore all the wrestlers who are 35+ on our television screens

:wtf: Had no idea Priest was 41. Knew he’d been around a while. Didn’t realize it was that long.

Ehhh that was moreso a general wrestling thing than just a Vince thing.

Even just a few years ago you had Cody saying he wanted to be done by 40.

I look at it like how the younger generation used to look at 30/40 year old rappers as “old”.

Completely foolish as we begin to age with them.

I call out his dumb shyt and he runs over here quick to cape for an angle, which no one mentioned in this thread recently. Dude got hurt and went on the defense for something no one brought up here in the first place. And he’s crying over fukkin e-rep. :dahell:

Every wrestler says they’re gonna be done and then have 100000 matches after

And I don’t agree it’s more so a general wrestling thing..

We have unlimited number of examples of many of all time greats wrestling up there in age

shyt didn’t stone cold main event a wrestlemania in recent memory

shyt the rock wrestled last mania

shyt ric said he had a heart attack last match

Funk wrestled until his body didn’t allow to anymore

shyt why the fukk is tanahashi washed ass still wrestling

This shyt like crack to them nikkas and we as fans don’t really care as long as these dudes deliver

Im talking about before this era. We never really saw many wrestlers going into their 40s still performing at a high level.

Sting could still go but he retired a couple of times previously because of the age bias and 40+ being “old” for wrestlers.

Same with Foley and all the times he came back.

Because their not so drugged up to not feel the pain from most injuries that now most current talent doesn’t ignore it to further those injuries
