2006 with that gay ass DX reunion and Rey getting jobbed out as champion? Trash ass HBK vs God feud? And Great Khali super push? I liked Edge/Cena, Trish/Mickie, and early ECW I guess. But the woman's division doesn't even compare to now.
2021-2023 can't agree either and I honestly think AEW would have been much bigger comp the way Vince was alienating fans and sabotaging the product (even with Punk's issues). I mean the show was basically propped up by The Bloodline which is mostly Heyman. And Bianca and Sasha stood out.
Smackdown in 2021 when fans returned and you had Bloodline, Seth/Edge, and Sasha/Bianca was good. But they sabotaged all that with the Becky heel turn. Raw was terrible all the time. Nikki ASH lol?

Becky's heel turn didn't sabotage a damn thing, it actually led to the best women's feud the company had since Sasha vs Bayley. Also every era is centered around a few people with the rest playing supporting roles, and the support was better during the Ruthless Aggression & Bloodline era. Now you're basically watching HHH live out his black & gold fantasy on a larger scale. Also all the negative stuff you mentioned about 06 was way more entertaining than the shyt we see now imo.

Roman’s saga as champion/blood line storyline isn’t as good as it was without Cody. Imagine if he never returned.

Dudes were begging fukking TNA step up around that time because it was so trash. Not to mention the backlash to anything Cena was doing. Cody right now is as at least universally over.

Cody run has been great outside of the filler with Solo
Roman and Cody are each other greatest rivals. Roman needed this to further his long reign.
