It's one of those situations where he was bigger, stronger, and faster at one level and not so much at the next. I understand last season the coaching was ass and it may not be the best this season but still, he's shown no improvements at all.

He's actually been playing well this year. 65 percent completion percentage, will probably reach 4k yds and has a decent td to int ratio
He’s picked it up these last few weeks. Tbh my observations week one when he played us (the Commanders) was he wasn’t bad. He mostly made all the right reads he was just throwing bad balls. I felt if he could clean up his throwing mechanics he could get back on track. With that said the next step is consistency, winning big games, and winning when the expectations are high. Sometimes it’s easier to play at 3-7 when there’s no expectations and the other team might take you for granted and overlook you.

The numbers don't tell the story whatsoever.

He had a 5 game losing streak where he went 4 TDs and 5 INTs, looking scary and gunshy. He has some good stats in a few losses which make his stats look better than they are.

He's been the main person responsible for our poor play this season

Funny you say that when in the commanders game he overthrew a TD and went 3 and out like twice at the end of the game to choke the game away

the fact that he is being pushed & supported to succeed means everything

patience is key

if it was a situation where they really weren't with him & already looking to move on after the first sign of struggle all the potential & talent would mean nothing

every pro has potential & talent but not every pro will be given time
