Have you asked obama and halle berry what they have experienced personally? You are doing some major presumptions about what type of racism other people experienced without even knowing them. I mean obama himself has had some major racist shyt said toward him from republicans in public, I can't imagine what was said to him in private.

:snoop: Geez man god help you negroes. I didn't say they didn't experience racism. Of course they do and it's disgusting. They most likely both experienced racism within their own families. That right there is an experience I myself with two black parents and grandparents have and will never experience. :pachaha: Just experiencing racism by a certain sect of people doesn't automatically mean we are 100 percent equal.

Obama and Halle still received privileges from having white parents. To deny that is silly.

Your right its a fukking epidemic.

whats so crazy about the mixed raced wanting to be classified as their own? they are not black nor white and have their own unique experience in america. like i said, as time passes on and more mixed children are produced; they will form their own community and detach themselves from the black race. then you nikkas going to feel stupid for placing them as the best and brightest of your community

:heh: Race is not genetic breh, that's the point. Racial categories were created to marginalize a group of people, to the point where if you had even a drop of the marginalized group's blood, you were considered one of them. Ever heard of high yella? They were blacks who could pass, to the point where they'd hide their black parentage so they could join high society in the South. That's why terms like tragic mulatto and uncle tom were created. Race can't even attribute to phenotype much less genotype.

I understand that completely. So in 2013 why continue to uphold a racist ideology? I could careless but you guys are sitting here not fully understanding what side of the argument you are on.

Oh come on, any pure african can get inclusion in white society if they c00n themselves up and deny history. Just look at allen west, michael steele, or any modern day black republican. They are all accepted by white society. Being lighter skinned or darker skinned doesn't really matter. At the end of the day we are all black people whether you accept that or not. I really don't care.

Whenever this topic comes up I really do question the education levels on this board and this coming from a multiple :troll: alias..

Dude you have biracial people(people of two different races), Mixed race, multigenerational mixed and so on. Let's get rid of this notion that all black people in America are heavily mixed raced. Factually it's not true. You are mostly black. You might be carrying 15% in you but you couldn't find a non-black relative for damn 200 years and that's most black people. I know it warms most of you negroes soul to think you have some long lost Irish relative out there waiting to reunite with you, but it ain't happening.s There isn't one pure race in the Americas yet there isn't this obtuseness you get in discussion with other races when this topic comes up. Simple distinctions breh. Multigenerational Mixed people are what you consider most Dominicans, Brazilians, etc which is why largely South and Latin Americans go by their nationalities because the simplification of American race classifications don't tell the entire story.

My post went over your head, I was mostly trying to see the logic some of these posters have, fact is many afro caribbeans have european ancestors as well, think I'm lying, look it up, and as for African Americans there is European blood down they're pipeline, whether it's one person or not. What I'm saying is yes these groups are mostly black, but you have posters like @GreatestLaker saying people aren't black due to some sort of mixing down the pipeline, hell dude even got on me because I don't claim my white/carib Indian background. @marcuz name these posters trying to cling on European pride so bad :usure: don't have me fooled with c00ns like Anothergirl.

nikka I asked YOU a seven word question. You responded by typing out a paragraph telling ME, what YOU think, I think.

LOL, you dudes is wild.

:what: You conflated light skin people with mixed raced. You can be light skin and have two black parents and you also can be mixed raced and be dark. Man I think this topic might be above your pay grade.

Cause nikkas is up in here callin @kermit da hustla not black because he happens to have white parentage, and he therefore hates himself and should classify himself as mixed race. My whole point was, if he's down for the cause, who cares what shade he comes in? What they're doing is the same shyt whites have been doing, choosing what someone can identify as instead of letting them self-identify. Even if he called himself mixed race I wouldn't have a problem with that. My stance has always been you can't force someone to be someone they don't wanna be. Y'all do too much sometimes. @Kind Gentleman is mixed and he's been down to ride since from jump from what I've seen. You can't ever take that away from him. Let the nikka kermit rock. :dahell:

That's one individual person with the opinion. Lol I understand what he's saying and I disagree. But the mentioning of AA and Afro Caribbeans ancestral background only comes up in these discussions. That right there in itself is why there is a difference between someone with non-black parents and the average AA. Their experiences will most likely be different.
