You are aware that most blacks a nice amount of European DNA in them right.

so how is obama even socially white if he was raised by white parents and lived in white communities? if it were that easy for a black woman to produce a president, we would have had one by now.So what does that matter? Don't ignore the post where I said that race is a SOCIAL CONSTRUCT. There are no guidelines for what you want to declare your race as especially in america. I don't subscribe to your thoughts on race because it's both wrong and ignorant.
That may be true but this is what I mean by the simplifying over a complex issue. Someone with a non-black parent or grandparent will most likely have different experiences then the average AA with 17th century rape blood.

@marcuz Lets test your stance here.
On paper i'm half black...but I was culturally raised black, claim black at all times, even when times are bad and the woman I plan on building a future with is black. I keep my talents, my seed and my resources within the black community. Sorry to tell you but many men and women who are considered black pioneers have a background similar to mine.
What exactly are you looking for?

He is doing the same exact thing whites did with the one drop rule.
So are light skinned black people black?
