"Obama isn't really black" These are all things that are equally racist. One a person who says that isn't factually wrong but they are implying what's mentioned above.
You have light skin privilege that usually follows mixed raced heritage. Politically he is black though because he was born at a time where "colored" was still used on birth certificates. Today in 2013 where people are increasingly representing their mixed raced heritage you start to see what's happening politically and socially and that's an ever increasing anti-black America. You can be a little black, but not too black.
Black women have seen their image diluted something serious by mixed raced "black" women solely identifying as black.
