I assume they do, but he probably relying on food for his calories. You think all things remaining the same He could get an extra 300cals per day to start through fluids/drinks.
I agree. That’s what I mean they give you all that and track all that. Which is why I don’t understand how he hasn’t gained one pound.

thread talkin’ about his size yet Devonta Smith a solid WR2.. wait.. :francis:

:why:

Devonta Smith went for 1800 and 23 TDs in the SEC on a #1 ranked Alabama team that won the national championship 54-20

& is 30th in catches and 11th in TDs in the NFL right now and doesn’t also fukking play corner for the Eagles when the defense is on the field :russ:

That's the point breh, Smith was all world at WR in college and is now a borderline #1/2. In short, size matter

Older you get less calories you burn.

He just has to increase his calorie count like anyone else to gain weight. Has nothing to do with strength and conditioning.

Man, what :what: :heh:

My cousin played high D1. I saw it firsthand, the biggest muscle gain you will ever see is in college, in particular from HS senior to freshman year. Them mfers turn into gladiators. College weight training and more importantly nutrition at top schools may even be better than the nfl. Bc in college they (used to) ‘own’ players and can rigidly stricture and enforce workouts and nutrition .

Freshman to sophomore year you can maybe see similar gains, but after that you’re plateauing .

And you absolutely ain’t gettin bigger in the league. If you do it’s very small incremental increases, we talking 5 pounds over 3 years type shyt. So where Emmanuel Forbes——my bad, where Travis is now is basically his playing weight for a minute

That’s what I’m trying to tell them breh. If he not gaining weight now he not gaining shyt in the league. Like I said earlier Texas had a dude enroll in January and by June he gained 25 pounds and was faster and quicker than before. Idk what tf they do in Colorado. shyt my high school we had dudes gaining 15 pounds in a year then again that is in Texas lol

These dudes are conflating NBA and NFL projections. You never talk about college football players going to "fill out" in the NFL like they do with NBA Prospects. You essentially are what you are and you will be graded accordingly

100% look at smith like yall said he exactly the same weight. Also he been injured like 2-3 times this year and he only get the ball like 3-4 times a game. Also he’s been hurt every year just like Travis but one.

He definitely should be a DB. That’s where his upside and best potential to be elite is at. He out athletes Pac12/Big 12 defenders, but his WR skills are not as elite. However, he spent so much time playing both sides that he has also stunted his growth (pause) refining his DB skills. Could have spent more time repping DB in practice but split half the time at WR. He missed three years of being strictly a corner and mastering that side.

100% agree whichever he was best at Deion should’ve had him focus strictly on that. Either way he’s gonna be unrefined because you have to remember Deion said he didn’t practice nothing but like 1-2 days the rest he was off. How tf you gonna develop if you don’t practice
