Not as much as I should have, if you go I highly recommend learning Portuguese, that can really better your experience..

I wouldn't recommend going during World Cup, it's going to be crazy expensive and over crowded, but if you like soccer then you will love it. The best spots depend on which day
Friday/ saturday Lapa it's like New Orleans, a whole bunch of bars and clubs in a small area. Sunday casa rosa I can't remember the spot on Thursday but its always something going on somewhere.. I only ran into one prostitue spot it's called balcony, it's the craziest place.. They shut down a lot of the whore houses for the Olympics. However if you happen to want to partake in the best strip club like club where you don't have to tip and you only pay if you fukk, it's called house 4*4
So when are you moving there
