Truth is, we don't know what his 1st or second read was. I would imagine he was 2nd or third just by the design of the play.

Aiyuk ain't as effective when Deebo is hurt tho

That's only because when Deebo is out we have Jennings as our number 2 receiver who has no right to ever be more than a slot guy and they can roll coverage to his side. If we had a halfway decent guy out there while Deebo is out he'd still eat. He didn't do bad though, I seriously think Aiyuk is a legitimate top 10 receiver maybe even top 7 to be exact. He doesn't make the spectacular one handers and stuff but he definitely is an elite route runner which is just as effective.

I think you supposed to read it from left to right in this case, but its always tough to say, especially since brock often manipulates defenders with eyes

if were being honest its probably second read in terms of plane/side of the field, probably third guy. you can also say its a checkdown and I wouldnt be particularly mad same as third/fourth read
