If dude is truly a long term project/prospect as y'all saying then I hate the pick. We fukking suck at developing high ceiling players that are drafted high


I mean, we already knew they punted on this coming season. The level of luck we need on this draft + injuries would be unprecedented for us to be competitive

I dont think hes a project, hes just young and athetic...I just think hes not a speed rusher because of slow getoff...and he has little technique....he can be an AA type of player with better run defense skills rushing from inside or moved around the line

I actually think hes the opposite of a high ceiling player. I dont see him being an elite nfl pass rusher, but I can see him being a very good all-around dlineman

I was giving them a chance for this season based on this draft and I genuinely couldn't tell from the pick. I don't know enough about this guy specifically, but from the rush highlights they showed he gave me Chase Young vibes......I would've been happier if they got the Michigan DT that went to Miami if they didn't go offensive line in some form or fashion.

Hopefully they get some fatty dts later in the draft because that group was terrible last year

Unfortunately there was a run on tackles and we couldn't trade down is what I am guessing. Mykel Williams is more of a run stopper than pass rusher but he is good enough to be a day 1 starter, imo. His ankle injuries are a mild concern though. We need to get run stuffers later on though. There are plenty of them in this draft.

I know a RT was not a realistic option at #11 given how the draft unfolded but I really worry this is gonna be last year's draft again and we ain't gonna do jackshyt about the OL.

Honestly, who cares? This team will be working with a new coach, new GM and top 10 pick in 2027. While dealing with a couple years of cap hell to get out of the Purdy contract

Only way Jed fires him is if we get locker room fukkery and dysfunction + Paraag leaking shyt like in the Baalke days.

I think after ten years with no rings, it will be time to move on and I think the fan pressure and media pressure will really set in. Jed wants to be loved like his uncle and he will never get there with no rings. The yorks in general are jealous of Eddie D and the love he gets

I don't see it (unless the scenario I already posted happens). He got a 3 year extension after reaching the SB just 14 months ago, if anything, I see Jed letting that contract play out and start over with another coach with a semi-built roster instead of a full reset.

I said that we could have drafted him at 11 and I think he has high upside but going defense. I think Mychel may have been better value for the pick. We have enough picks to focus on o line
