Wilks gonna have to save our ass if it comes to that :sadcam: @JLova

I still maintain that Wilks has been doing a great job this whole time on top of taking shots for Kyle's random ineptness, Brock's failing in multiple 4th quarters before the bye, and our well paid defensive players shytting the bed. Lane Johnson false starting or not he shouldn't have been able to do what he did to Bosa all game and Chase was basically a ghost.

shyt. I forgot about Brown. He's been so damn good I though Hufanga was still playing. I thought at first we might have to keep him someway somehow, but not if Brown keeps balling.

Gipson's gone after this season. Brown would be an upgrade if he took over that spot based on what I've seen. The only time I saw him mess up was when he first came in against Tampa on 2 plays, other than that he's been playing his ass off.

Brown missed two tackles against the eagles, both of them long them third down conversions. Aj brown one I'm more OK with but that whiff on devontae Smith was pretty bad and let them convert 3rd and like 19

That was the game plan, players and coaches admitted it. And from the people that actually know football, it seems the plan was executed perfectly :manny:

He did. Then again, Huff has whiffed on big plays too.

It would be nice to have Gipson back for over more year but Brown is looking like a dog

It was the plan for him to get blocked all game and for Chase to barely play? They're not going to spit in my face and tell me it's raining.

There's a HUGE difference between a plan to contain a QB in the pocket and for our defensive line to look as feckless as they did. Has this been the plan for Bosa this entire year then? Was it the same plan against the Vikings when a 3rd year tackle told his team he got Bosa? I actually know football too and how that defensive line played wasn't part of no plan. They've been running interference for this d line all year even throwing the defensive backs and coordinator under the bus.

:what: Bosa has been demolishing people since the bye (as expected). Him, Kyle AND Armstead were saying post game that yes, the point of containing Hurts was keep position, and if it meant getting blocked 10 seconds, so be it. And both Chase and Bosa had 15 QB pressures combined.

You wanna bytch and complain about a game plan that clearly worked, then have at it :yeshrug:

"Since the bye" - Nice qualification for his clearly shytty season. Our bye was on week 9 so you're saying he's only played good for 4 games?? Also, he hasn't been demolishing people and a DC wouldn't install the "don't get pressure at all" plan if the defensive line was actually functional. Those pressure stats are a nice excuse until you read how they're actually counted. A pressure is being 2 yards from a QB when they pass OR at 1.5 yards of the QB at any point. Do you know how large of a gap that is? If a RB has a 1.5 yard gap to run through we'd all call that incredible blocking, but for pass rushers that counts as doing something post snap. That's like saying visiting San Mateo is the same as visiting San Francisco. Ain't no professional QB getting bothered by 1.5 yards of space.

"game plan that clearly worked" - That doesn't mean it's above criticism or reproach. Folks are still in here correctly going at Kyle's first few series and you're not sprinting through here with a 49ers flag telling them to hush up. Bosa must be your favorite overpaid player.

Ain't no DC in the world is cool with the even if it means getting blocked 10 seconds strategy against a very good receiving core. I'll say this again because you seem to have missed it. There is a HUGE difference between containing a QB and not getting any pressure at all. HUGE.

If you're one of those fans who watches games with their eyes closed and is cool with accepting the team's post game PR, then have at it. :yeshrug:

:what:

I'm talking about the Philly game. I've shytted on DLine (Bosa included) before and was laughing at how they needed Wilks to go down to the sidelines to babysit them to actually play well.

I have no idea how we have the same folks for literally a decade posting in the same Niner threads and act up like we have never read each and shyt.
