Perspective. He's had a bad couple of games in his first 13 starts. Ok. So did Josh Allen. So did Trevor Lawrence. Hell, Peyton threw more INTs in his first 3 starts than Purdy has thrown in his career. Purdy came into this game with the 3rd highest QBR in the league. This "bad" stretch he's been playing without his best OL and an elite weapon. Yeah, he's making some bonehead plays...as most QBs in their first season of starts do. He's also made some very good plays as well which show why Kyle gave him the keys to the car. Offense just needs to get healthy and Brock needs to learn from these mistakes like all good young QBs do. He's 23 years old. Not hitting the panic button yet. The defense is a bigger concern to me given that these guys are supposed to be the backbone of the team and have been paid and drafted as such. :patrice:

All these excuses. I mean, it's funny seeing them now considering folk were calling him MVP of the league and comparing him to past 9er greats. The game is much tougher to play when you have to go out and win games because your team is down. Luckily for Brock, folk missed so badly that they will do everything to excuse him and throw the D under the bus. Remember, last week the turnovers were blamed on a concussion. The excuses are going to run out unless he can turn it around.

Maybe Brock is Rob Johnson. Maybe he's Brady. Better hope he aint Rob Johnson. He set the bills back many years.

See what I mean when I say CMC is the most important player on the offense? It aint Purdy. That MVP talk lookin
micheal-jordan-laughing.gif

I been knowing it but Purdy had been making them pay as well so it was harder to take CMC out completely. Now we gotta find other ways to get him involved amd hope Purdy gets out of this kind of a funk he's been in. The picks have been awful late but hopefully we just ride the wave and get back on track. Unfortunately that game is against Jacksonville so we'll see.

I'm not ready to dismiss Brock completely but he gotta step it up. He got us there against Cleveland and we missed the field goal, ok that's one excuse, Minnesota he played great and he got a concussion, ok that's another excuse. This game, I have none for him. He played fine up until the end then fell apart. We'll see of this is an anomaly or the norm for him but I'm not willing to write him off just yet because I've seen QB's have much worse stretches. If it keeps on tho, we'll have to ask ourselves who is he like you said. I was thinking Nick Foles vs Carson Wentz or even Ryan Fitzpatrick.
