Dont know whats happening in the 2nd.

Maybe feels pressure seeing the other QB play (which hasnt been the case until recently)?
He's seeing the defense not being able to stop anyone and needing the offense to put up 7 points every drive. He's trying to make shyt happen and he's does not have THAT kind of level right now to do it consistently. So for every risky shyt that works (passes to Kittle and CMC on our last TD drive) there's gonna be a lot more than don't work (three INTs). He was also running a lot today trying to move the chains.

Basically he's trying to play like a top QB whose teams fully depends on his play, and when he's down 1-2 scores in the second half, he's been pressing and forcing shyt to close the gap. And that's not how we should be trying to do shyt on offense. Kyle has been giving him waaay too much responsibility for a player that still has a lot to improve upon, while at the same time having the playmakers to play more complimentary and balanced football. It's just a dumb and failed gamble by our HC.

Like @ysef said, we've become a finesse team that requires everything to work like a perfect clock. When shyt gets going we look dope, but as soon as there's some issues (injuries, penalties or just a bad day from someone) we look lost as fukk. We don't have any backup plan on offense and it seems our QB realizes that and is trying to fix shyt by himself. And that's gonna be a losing formula more times than not.

To be fair that is what Purdy was doing for the most part. But yea the Bengals were playing soft those last two drives.

Purdy has played really well in the 1st half the last two games. Dont know whats happening in the 2nd.

Defense has been putting the team in holes in the 2nd half and we start losing control, so situational football requires the offense to really elevate and Purdy feels like he has to play heroball and forcing throws and extending plays beyond his current capacity. That cross-body throw to George today was an example that worked out, but it's caused some killer turnovers the past few games. Purdy's normal pass play selection has a pretty high level of risky throws that he's normally able to execute due to great anticipation and accuracy, but when the defense knows it's a pass situation they're able to make those throws much more difficult and riskier than normal. Kyle needs to get in his bag and dial up some safer plays for Brock to execute in must-pass situations.

I don't know breh. I know we were able to overcome shyt the last 2 season but at some point you play with fire long enough and you gonna get burned.

The defense looks so damn lost out there. It would be one thing if we had to worry about teams finally figuring us out on offense but we also gotta do a complete 180° on defense too. That's A LOT to overcome.

We'll see if we figure shyt out once again but this is looking like a struggle to get a WC spot and see what can we do once we in the dance.
I was talking about Purdy, but the defense is what I’m worried about. We’re too predictable and Wilks has been getting out coached. Talent is there, but the coach needs to figure out why it isn’t working. Just too much talent to be looking this weak.

Unpopular hot take, but did we really need Mccaffrey? Dude is a beast, and I know he’s versatile, but I feel like we were more effective when we had that 3 man rotation going. One back would always step up if the others couldn’t. Now we have Mccaffrey taking pretty much all the snaps and if he ain’t going than our run game is non existent. Let’s see what we do after the bye.

This a team that's good enough to beat anyone in the NFC. We do have some issues to address. Deebo and Trent coming back will be huge, defense needs a boost

Exactly. Losing Deebo has taken out our best screen player, but we saw what happened on the screen to CMC against Minny, he housed it. We have other guys who can execute screens. That's how you reduce the risk of Purdy in these situations.

That’s the main thing I was concerned about all off-season while some folks ain’t wanna take me seriously

Yes I joke
Yes I troll
Yes I bring fukkery and drama

But I was DEAD ASS about my concern for the defense and feel we can’t win a SB with that shyt lacking.

I blame them more than our QBs the last few years outside of last year

We did need CMC. Before he showed up last season, our run game was almost none existent and there was no 3 man rotation because there was always at least 1 RB injured. Plus, the third back has been a bust every time (Sermon, TDP) so we were in need of an injection on offense and CMC was the perfect solution.

Having him does not mean we should run him to the ground. Having him means there should be more options on offense and guys like Mitchell and Mason should be getting some looks or decoys plays. But our HC is content with using CMC to the fullest and whatever happens, happens. It's not McCaffrey's fault Kyle is a stubborn a$$hole.

And without CMC, we probably are 3-5 this season.
