He completed 19 straight

Don't let the 14 win fool ya
This coulda really been not so Purdy

Throwing 19 straight short throws shouldn't be the reason you swoon over a QB. I get that your choke artist role model Tony Romo got all hot and bothered by it, but it wasn't some super human feat.

I get that you're hype because y'all beat up old ass Stafford today, but two weeks ago your whole team was running away from the bay with your tail between your legs. Y'all are front running specialists and that's why you're in this thread talking slick.

I bet you won't have this energy with no Eagle fans.

49ers..Braves..Celtics
As bad as the last 3 games have been, I think this was definitely the low point because we should have won the Browns game and we had several chances to win the Vikings game... even so, I'm not ready to write it off by a long shot. There's a lot of things that must be addressed though.

All these excuses. I mean, it's funny seeing them now considering folk were calling him MVP of the league and comparing him to past 9er greats. The game is much tougher to play when you have to go out and win games because your team is down. Luckily for Brock, folk missed so badly that they will do everything to excuse him and throw the D under the bus. Remember, last week the turnovers were blamed on a concussion. The excuses are going to run out unless he can turn it around.

Maybe Brock is Rob Johnson. Maybe he's Brady. Better hope he aint Rob Johnson. He set the bills back many years.
Objectivity. I know you had superstitions about jinxing or whatever but throughout the first 5 weeks of the season Brock was playing at elite QB caliber. No one was saying he’s a lock for the Hall of Fame or that he’s the greatest QB of all time, but yeah he was objectively, deservedly in MVP conversations. No one is saying that now, because his play has dropped from the first 5 weeks.

It’s not “lucky” for Brock that the defense has completely shyt the bed, because a lot of the heat he’s deservedly getting now is because of situations the defense’s poor play is exposing in his play. Bosa, Armstead, Hargreaves, Fred, Greenlaw, Ward have all been paid bank and have all been severely underperforming. Brock is the last pick in the draft on his 13th start, he’s pretty far down the list of people who should be shouldering the load of a Super Bowl team. He’s playing way above his expectation, even with these bonehead turnovers. Get the defense right, get Trent and Deebo back, and Brock will be fine.

I'm not ready to dismiss Brock completely but he gotta step it up. He got us there against Cleveland and we missed the field goal, ok that's one excuse, Minnesota he played great and he got a concussion, ok that's another excuse. This game, I have none for him. He played fine up until the end then fell apart. We'll see of this is an anomaly or the norm for him but I'm not willing to write him off just yet because I've seen QB's have much worse stretches. If it keeps on tho, we'll have to ask ourselves who is he like you said. I was thinking Nick Foles vs Carson Wentz or even Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Bottom line they need to run the ball more without CMC. Defenses have adjusted. If course give him touches but put him in as a decoy a lot to do you get everyone involved and they don't know who to stop.

The defense is a head scratcher. Tbh I think Wilks called a good game in Minnesota. It was all on the players Imo. shyt load of missed talks and they couldn't cover for shyt.

This game is all on Wilks. They played soft all game and it was like he was scared to blitz

Purdy hype has been on 1000%. How can you even deny that? You may not have been on that tip but shyt was everywhere. Purdy's play is pretty much the same, defenses are just catching his passes now. They were dropping them before.

The problems are on both sides of the ball. Let's not just chalk it up to the defense. They have been less than stellar but we can't blame the turnovers on them. Brock turned the ball over inside the redzone. How i that on the D?

There's a lot of work to do.
