I remember my uncle came to town. Got me, my siblings and cousins and took us there. Told us we could get anything we wanted :wow: miss those days being a kid and going there. Wish I could take my kid there

I miss that shyt. A year before the last Toys R Us around me closed, I went through it just to see what was up. It wasn't the same as in the 90s cause kids want slightly different things, but the magic was there. I will go to my grave thinking fondly on that "I don't want to grow up" jingle and getting amazing gifts like the Spider-Man and Daily Bugle playset

There is a certain amount of joy that you can not reproduce as an adult that these toys deliver. Maybe having kids and seeing them play, but I have fond ass memories.

I feel u breh. Im in westchester and the main toys r us was in yonkers on a hill and taking that drive up the hill seeing the sign was like hitting the lottery. The American dream mall next to metlife has
The only toys r us store now and it brought back great memories and my kids was geeking out too.

We had a comic shop out here too called Dragon’s Den which was the OG nerd collectible store that most collectors anime stores follow the blueprint for now. Thats basically the new KB toys and toysrus for this generation now
