The thing that many ppl fail to understand, especially the ones who prefer online shopping, is just actually being in the store. You don't even have to buy anything, just being able to play the Sega or Nintendo the store had on display. Your parents actually seeing you enjoy the toy you get to actually play with and them putting it in their mind to get it for your birthday or Christmas.
Hell, our local video store where we rented movies and games, had the snes and Sega out for customers to play. It was on our way walking to and from school. One the way home, it wasn't shyt for us to go in there and spend 30 minutes playing Sonic or Madden
