oh I've already stated that I agree Dris ain't dead, I was just address the "need" to drag the body off the roof. They drop bodies in Summerhouse like it's nothing.
What corpse? My "theory" is that Dris ain't dead at all lolThe problem with that theory is they wouldn't show his daughter waiting for him after the scene with Sully.
The corpse would be found too soon.

I just re-watched the first season. I'm sorry but that season just cant be topped, season 3 was good but the first season was outstanding.
I thought that for a split sec...but that was too much of a violation for sully to let slide...sully is too much on code when it comes to “street” principles to let that shyt go...this the same sully that only had a day left on his bid and still brought the shyts to modie on GP even tho he could’ve left it alone
Top Boy season one is in the upper echelons of television.
Damn...Drake and Netflix really got a W this.
Sully had grown a lot this season so i could see him showing mercy to a sick day one friend with a daughter who depends on solely him, but I agree with you that it doesn't really make much sense narratively for him to let Dris slide. The only reason I'm in the Dris is still alive camp is because of how they shot that scene. They had Sully send Jaq away and then panned away from the roof as Sully fired the shot. I've seen this tactic unfold so many times that it just feels like they're trying to use it here.
With all that said, it doesn't make logistical sense for Dris to be alive either. People will ask questions if no corpse is found. Sully can't claim he got rid of the body cuz no one would believe he got it from the roof to all the way downstairs to a car to dispose of it all by himself. This may be the point @rhoff113 was trying to make, and if so: my bad, I misunderstood.
