One thing I don't get, living in Hackney, is how Jamie murked a Turkish drug supplier and there were no repercussions.

and Jamie immediately went and bragged about it, so it wasn't like it was a secret on the streets. Compare that to the immediate clap back from the Ukranians in season 2 and it just don't fit.

I also don't get how Dushane got the juice to take out Sugar overnight. If he had that pull, why did let Donovan get killed and run back to London to begin with? That seemed way too easy. :comeon:

Dushane flipping the cctv guy was way too easy too. Dude was in a fortress and had a code he lived by, yet he flipped on Jamie simply cuz Dushane said they went way back and Jamie was new? :comeon:

Why did Jaq snitch on her sister then beg for mercy? She knew Dushane and especially Sully weren't going to let that slide. No one knew about her sister's involvement. She could've just told her to stop crying, tell no one else, and leave town. I forgot what show said this, but once more than two people knew it, it's no longer a secret, it's information. Jaq telling Dushane and her sister running to his girl's house meant too many people knew. So if Dushane doesn't tell Sully, it creates a potential wedge between the two as Sully already has trust issues with him. Dris flipping on them gave Dushane an out, but I havea strong feeling that the fact that he didn't tell Sully about this is going to pop back up in the seasons to come.

The character growth on this show is excellent. You are pouring some serious jelly on yourself if you decide to skip the first two seasons (series). It's only four episodes and they're only 45 minutes each....that's just 6 hours and it adds sooo much depth to the characters and the scenery.

I do wish Ra'Nell made a cameo or something. Would be good to see if he made it out of summerhouse to a productive life.

random question: I wonder if that hipster coffee shop Dushane visited when he first got back to London is the property or neighborhood he was supposed to invest in with that lawyer chick. Seemed like they were hinting at it, but never came close to confirming it. :yeshrug:

Anyone know what exactly happened to Dris? Like what he's taking the medication for?

I wonder if Jermaine was the one who dropped the dime to the feds of where Modie would be. It was way too easy and coincidental that they found him where and when they did. Only Jermaine knew where he'd be, as he had to text him the address. Just the same, Jermaine had to have known what kind of fukkery Modie was on before he went away. And still he orchestrated his escape. Modie was definitely a liability. Not sure what his or Jermaine's endgame was. They were all better off rolling with Jamie anyway. But jealousy....

I thought back to all of this with the :ohhh: like that’s some dope writing, bear In mind also that they are literally the first scene of the season too

it's certainly possible that Jermaine set Modie up, but I doubt it. He wasn't in that safe house acting like he thought Modie wasn't coming back, plus he's not really about that life. As soon as he saw Modie was dead he immediately squashed it with Jamie (who just tried to kill him). If he knew Modie wasn't coming back, seems he would've passed the reigns to Jamie and dipped like ended up doing.

Modie's very distinct acid splashed face was plastered all over the news. I don't think it required some grand scheme for him to get caught, he was moving like an idiot. It's pretty plausible that the chick he tried to holler at as he entered the doctor's office called the cops after that encounter. Or even the doctor himself. :manny:

He had a stroke. Don't know much beyond that, but his health was fukked.

Also count me in the camp that thinks he's still alive.

Yeah, I think so too. It's a classic TV rule that you gotta see the body before you assume a character is dead. :francis:

Sometimes even that don't stick, you could see a nikka head in a box but it's a switcheroo. Prison Break stans know what I'm talking about

It don't make sense because they are on top of a building and Sully can't carry the body by himself to make it disappear.
I think they just don't show it like Sully don't want Jaq around, for "decency".

I can't stand dushane I think it's just the actor but he's not convincing enough for me. Some of the things he did just don't seem realistic.

I'm guessing they never intended on the body disappearing... multiple bodies have been thrown off of buildings on this show. :pachaha:

Yeah, that stroke got him in a bad way. The left arm is damn near uncontrollable. It won't stay down. He's taking those pills to control the effects, but we saw the results of him missing the pill that day. He's done.

They've been showing people getting murked all throughout the 3 seasons. For them to not show Sully murking Dris, would not make sense in this show. They wouldn't have done it off-camera and not even shown the body. They had just shown Leyton's lifeless body from the slug that hit his femoral artery, which is precisely what Lizzie warned Jamie about, and what Jamie did NOT explain to Farah.

More than likely, like Dushane did with Jaq and her sister, Sully made Dris come clean, pledge complete loyalty, and made him go get his daughter and leave town for good that night. While he betrayed them, and definitely a liability on the road, he was always their boy. He's done on the road. No need to rub it in by making his daughter an orphan, well until her moms gets out ot jail.

In that sense, both of them appeared to have grown in that aspect of decision-making over the past 5 years.

Yeah, but they always show the body after, eyes open and lifeless. Ex. Michael.....

I think the only body that we've seen them try to disappear was Kamale's...and the fukkery that ensued after that in Season 2.

oh I've already stated that I agree Dris ain't dead, I was just address the "need" to drag the body off the roof. They drop bodies in Summerhouse like it's nothing. :pachaha:

In addition to Kamale, they burnt up his cousin in that trunk. I guess the body didn't technically disappear tho :ld:
