My nikka Modie tho :russ: ...
I hate how they built him up throughout the season, just for him to get killed off that quick. I wish they would have kept him so he could get into hella fukkery next season. Netflix stay killin off all the good villians.

Yeah i was expecting him to do something, just to show he is back on things - he was nuts but part from the shootout with Sully, he didnt do much.

Wow! Just finished this season and I’m very impressed. The musicians performances were on point; Asher D, Bashy, Dave get the well done nod. However, that boy Kano... BRILLIANT! I praised him in S1 & S2 but he ascended in this season. You know someone is acting out their skin when you don’t see the person but you see the character. This is especially harder for someone coming on screen and they are known primarily for something else. Take a bow, take a bow.

Moving forward, I felt the season lacked that dirty undertone from S1 & S2 yet I still enjoyed. The tie in of other subjects is something I liked and in S3 this continued with the continued gentrification theme/local council, mental health issues (there are kids out there who behave exactly like Dave and the gang member who got dropped from the tower block. Their brains are totally FRIED), Home Office incompetence and I believe the show is hinting that Dushane is a high-functioning alcoholic.

The final scene genuinely made me say “Oh shyt!” and explained why the male nitty said something along the lines of “I’m sick of this shyt” after he got slapped up by the big fella in Fields LOOOOL.

Roll on season 4!

:obama:

That gentrification scene was too real!

I get that same feeling that when I pass through Dalston on the high road and see all these damn hipsters riding their little bikes and sipping lattes outside restaurants and cafes like they're at Ascot or something. I used to work around there back in the day when it was hood as fukk and there's no way these lame looking cacs would be walking around at night around there like it's nothing. It's annoying and I miss the old, aggressive but fun spirit of Hackney. :mjcry:

Yeah dude was like the Joker and funny as fukk, but realistically a criminal that high profile would be caught within a week at the very most in any modern city in 2019. Anything else would have been Power status.

I feel the same, I'm glad he got taken out quick it almost seemed like he was going to derail everything.

They really made you feel :mjcry: at the harsh realities of the onset of :flabbynsick:. Drizz was so :flabbynsick: that I didn't even recognise at first that he was that skinny guy from the earlier seasons. Dude had the :mjcry: face all season seeing that the lesbian girl gradually was taking his spot.

drizz, deshawn and sully had me thinking of cats I know who are mid-30s burnt out broke drug dealers who were the man when they were in their teens and 20s. While straight guys who've been working all that time have got a house, steady income and family by that age.

I didn't see a way out for Deshawn, as Jamie was getting that luck you get from being a reckless kid.

Plus you see what dirtbags they are for destroying the african kid's life.

It's crazy alie?!

When Dushane came back from Jamaica and went for a coffee, he experienced that first hand. The guy just wanted a simple coffee and this cac barista was measuring coffee beans like he was handling volatile substances smhlol. Charging him £3.50, Christ. That whole scene just sums up London's transformation. He felt like a stranger in his own area.

Was he an actual football agent or did just wanna finesse the other brother for a spot of lunch in posh place? LOOOL I found that shyt funny man.

I didn't really get that part but now that you mention it, it seems like that's what happened lol. Just up and left raggo with the man looking like:dwillhuh: stuck with the expensive bill. I'm going to rewatch the whole thing again soon anyway.

That Sully/Dris final scene let me on tears. Kano can be so good sometimes.

Very good season. They do too much with miserabilism and the love affairs but the rest of the show is so strong.
Love how they took a little cinematography from Gomorra for the atmosphere of a location.

All the "action" scenes are near perfect.

And the inteliigence in the writing with the end.

1) The Wire
2) Gomorrah
3) Top Boy
4) The Shield
