In another thread so many people was on my head because I said we as black people shouldn’t have been so focused on getting government jobs and should’ve started doing our own thing more.

The government was the only major employer who had systems in place to avoid discriminatory hiring. Any other job and you got to hope the recruiter, manager, and anyone else in the hiring cycle isn’t racist to torpedo your application.
