He's fukking terrible 🤣...

When I'm talking about best cities for us, the things that keep Baltimore off are the poor public schools, high violent crime, high black poverty. Those are huge factors to me...

Baltimore will bounce back. Murders are down 20% decrease in murder this past year over the year prior. Construction in dilapidated neighborhoods. Every time I go back home, I'm more impressed by what the city is doing. I know that it'll take a while before people outside of the Baltimore area take notice.

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
Was pleasantly surprised when I visited Knoxville. Cool and laid back. Loved how green it was and the Mountain Views coming from somewhere flat like Michigan. Currently plotting on moving to SoCal soon.

Would love to live in Chicago but over the winters. Was interested in checking out Phoenix to see what the vibes are like.

Ultimately trying to go somewhere winter isn’t a factor and plenty to do year round.
Knoxville actually is pretty cool. I don't think it has enough amenities for black people to make the cut for Top 25, though. There are definitely places that it's worse to live black, though!
What about Cincinnati?
Never been and don't know alot about it, other than it's reputation as really racist and having a few race riots. What's the black experience like there?
Baltimore does have some poor public schools. That said, it’s a place where black people, who are the majority, have a lot of opportunity. Some things aren’t reflected in statistics and certainly not in mainstream are hard to understand when you sing live in a chocolate city. Black children grow up seeing successful black people in powerful positions. That’s an affirmation of what’s possible to them.
One of the key traits of being a good city for us is having a successful black middle and upper class, and black representation in every walk of life. Baltimore has those things for sure, I just think that Baltimore's lows are really big red flags...
Durham a shyt hole
I agree. If you coming to this area, Raleigh is where you wanna be, not Durham...

The all white areas on the outskirts of these cities will stress you out if you’re not ready for :mjpls:

Replace Hartford with Boston(I know it’s white) it’s extremely safe and black people can get money there.

Savannah would be in consideration for the south

I know you spent time in Richmond, would love to hear if that was in consideration

I agree with not having the following as they are just too unsafe
Detroit
Cleveland
Baltimore
Philly
Memphis
Milwaukee

I've been in Charlotte for 2 years now, and at this point, i don't like it. It's cool for families, but it has no culture whatsoever, which is very noticeable. Too corporate as well, which makes kinda boring

That's about 200k people. That doesn't include the solid middle class black areas in the city.
It’s only about 80k black people, those areas aren’t only black and I’d like to know more about these black areas in the city because we rode around BMore a couple times and thought this feels eerily similar to Detroit.
