I never said anything about his business mind. This dude just doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut from time to time. You don’t throw shots at your own employees to prove a “point” and try to call it banter. :comeon:

What consquence if any does him throwing a playful tweet at Helwani really do breh?
It gets the wrestling marks worked up in the tribalism battle but thats it.:childplease:

He is coming off VERY corny :hhh:

I like his interviews and all that. But the way he handled this whole situation is just :comeon:

I really hope he knows now that real wrestling fans can no longer take his opinion serious. I get WWE gotta partnership with BT Sports and all that. But shyt man have some damn integrity..

But whatever..as long as the boys high fiving in the back :yeshrug:

That's the frustrating thing, too. Helwani can actually conduct a GREAT interview from time to time, as long as he fukks with the person he's talking to. But if he's talking to someone he doesn't really fukk with, or isn't fully participating, then he's quick to turn it into a shytshow.

But this shyt is wild corny, considering that both sides of this argument actually have valid points.

You obviously have no clue what “playful” is. Calling someone a fraud is disrespectful. Someone calls me that and it’s on. :what:

Like with his interview with TK. As soon as he realized that TK was NOT going to answer questions about the Brawl Out he should have respected that and changed the subject instead of pushing it.

On the flip side TK shouldn’t have taken that interview knowing the way Ariel is with his interviews.

But THEN to have Ariel go back and talk shyt about how bad it was because he didn’t give you no juicy shyt and then diss the man’s company. How else you think he was gonna respond?

All around this is some petty ass shyt on both ends..

The wrestling industry is rarely lacking for drama, and the recent back-and-forth between Tony Khan and Ariel Helwani certainly fits the bill. Booker T took some time to weigh in with his own analysis and judgment on the topic on his Hall of Fame podcast, characterizing the AEW owner’s actions as “amateurish” and indicating that Khan shouldn’t be publicly signaling when other people get to him in that fashion (via Wrestling Inc).

On the tenor of Khan’s actions in this situation: “It seemed like some high school stuff, man. It did not seem like something that a boss would be thinking about as far as Ariel Helwani making an appearance on WWE TV.

TK and his PR team fukked up by not letting him know beforehand to not ask questions pertaining to that situation. Ariel thought TK was ready to talk since they were the ones to reach out to him for the interview.

Besides, like Ariel mentioned as well, what proof or evidence is there that there was a legal investigation at all that TK couldn’t talk about? It’s all bullshyt.

Mf wouldn’t even answer questions about Cody or Bray or pretty much anything else he was asked. FOH.

Been saying it since the Swole comments, but he needs an AEW-focused, competent PR team badly.

Ever since the day AEW was announced, WWE had their adjacent media throw bullshyt at them. They have to fight back, public perception is a mf.

I think both sides of this have acted like children to a degree, but of course, the blame lies on TK because it would have never started if he hadn't tweeted.
