the rocks were a cliff hanger, batman's spidey senses going off and youtube videos of all the characters was them laying out their intent that universe expansion was more important than an actual good film.
and i didnt say the public demanded "antman" or "gotg" i said they demanded more good films. consistently overall positive reception to thor, captain america and iron man led to a demand for more films which gave them the room to expand the universe
but yes i agree with your ultimate point. if you make good films the rest will take care of itself
Word I feel that. But I also don't think they were completely wrong for the universe expansion bread crumbs they laid especially after seeing wonder woman and how it directly tied into that. It's a way to do it that everyone wasn't going to agree on but if the rest of the films bear fruit, then ultimately it will end up being a good decision or at least a less thought about decision What's important when doing this is always the follow up and I think they stuck the landing with wonder woman. With universal, bride of frankenstein is happening, so how it moves and what it is will be key in seeing how this thing shakes out but i can't front. I'm a lot more interested in seeing bride of frankenstein instead of the mummy although eventually i will see it out of obligation
