Yeah the finale was a letdown 
it's been downhill for the past few episodes and the sheer amount of cliches spiraled out of control in the end. The writing fell off a cliff from season 1

To my folks who have been watxhing the series on "legal" HBO max, do you have the translated subtitles for the Japanese conversations?..... . I have been watching from "alternate" sources and this episode doesn't have subtitles....... a bit of a problem to know what is happening....
Im in way too deep, I don't want to, but I might have to get HBO max for one episode if this doesn't get sorted....
Update: I had to call in the reinforcements and go to the bottom of the deep seas to find a good version.... eating again.

They're hardcoded on MAX. The subs for the English speakers are external.

It does happen, but the piraters have been good with it for awhile. It always seems. to happen when at a crescendo. But all good, went with one of my backup options and it is functioning.

I'm good with the finale. They were able to save the season with it. Of course since it was condensed intonone episode, there was some rushing, but it all got tied together well. I'm just glad Jake didn't get a happy ending cause of all the duplicity and chaos he sowed. Samamtha out here running again.... Tozawa's wife is ruthless, she just knows what it takes to maintain wealth and power behind the scenes...... I'll be her concubine for a year... 
I think this is the first time I would be upset if a favorite show of mine was renewed for a new season, season 2 ended perfectly.
