This got pretty bad towards the end. Lost most sense of realism. Melodramatic nonsense. Did anyone notice the use of texting? Wasn't this 1999? No one texted in 1999. And it wasn't used in ANY of the preceding episodes. Wasn't Jake talking to his Dad on a landline throughout the show? and tape recorders. Just seemed lazy and a show made for a wider audience used to cheap thrills and high drama.

the season ended well in my opinion. they wrapped up everything. i enjoyed both seasons but there is no point for a new storyline

Samantha being apart of Tozawa getting trappedYeah the finale was a letdownit's been downhill for the past few episodes and the sheer amount of cliches spiraled out of control in the end. The writing fell off a cliff from season 1

He thought he had reached the summit and started moving different. Classic pride before the fall shyt. If he had just coasted for a couple months/year then started talking shyt he probably would have been fine lol. Hell not even that, if he had just shown his wife a little respect he would have been fine. She's the one that pulled the trigger on him. Cold.

This show in the finale was def not the show it was in the season one premiere. Tozawa was a great villain though, that actor killed that shyt.

The show had no business being this good this season. Completely took the premise of season 1 and took up a notch or two. The acting from the Japanese actors was excellent. Tozawa was an excellent villain. The actor killed that role.

But it’s good that white people get painted as the bumbling idiots that they are. Especially Americans and their air of superiority. Jake in his quest to get Tozawa, affected the lives of the people close to him, Samatha also with her obession with the club and trying to be under the Yakuza. She got that architect killed and got her friend mixed into some shyt. They’re both selfish pieces of shyt.

The fight scene between Ishida and the assassins was the peak of the show. Not having another one with Sato and Tozawa was a letdown.
