your stars are but dust on my shoes
Also, my read on one of the scenes where Katiguri has a revelation, was that he realized it WAS the investigator/special prosecutor, whatever?

because she would have had to duck?

but then she got reassigned, and the interpretation seemed to be that because of corruption she was transferred away, due to the shift in power?

They were making it seem like the lady detective was crooked, but the latest episode seems to indicate that she was actually a good cop, and the officer sitting in the back gave the info to Tozawa's hitmen.

That's the reason why he ducked, and it's also why the hitmen had a clean shot without hitting anyone else in the car.

Someone further up in command ordered her to be transferred. The commissioner also warned Katagiri that the lady cop didn't know how things were run in the department, and warned him about going against the grain.

So we're seeing that the Yakuza has completely infiltrated the PD.

Remember Tozawa's meeting at the end with the soon to be Prime Minister and telling him to focus on the Justice Dept?....that's where the call to have Nagata taken out as head of the Yakuza dept came from.

thanks for the breakdown, that's pretty sloppy and obvious on the shows behalf. Why not just have the shooters go on the opposite side?

all that I caught too, the Justice Department and all that, I was just confused about the revelation.

its really classism because think about it.. these rick fukks always try to look down on brehs that make it close to them versus someone that they know came from their rich background... so the same way Tozawa's wife looks at him like a thug no matter what....them golf muhfukkaz probably think the same way...they just shook to say it

The new "The Gentlemen" on Netflix by Guy Ritchie plays on this really well

One of my favorite tv scenes is from Black Sails that addresses this head on in a dope little scene:
