starlito one of the best of the new generation easy. he talk greasy and drop jewels, gives you the ups and downs of that street life nikkas is so hype to live. but i feel like most nikkas wont notice lito til its too late

The thing about modern music is that you're exposed to everything of today, along with the literal ease of access - streaming, torrents, etc. So you probably hear more bad shyt than good shyt. Not to say there isn't anything good, obviously.

And then you must consider that only the best music of an era survives. The wack shyt is forgotten and the cream of the cop is immortalized. So you only remember the illest of yesteryear.

Furthermore, personal tastes play into it heavily.

It is simply illogical to apply an umbrella conclusion that ALL modern day rappers are wack.

I actually agree. Some good rappers but no one that's :ohhh: imo. I liked the Kendrick album but bleh

Yall won't appreciate it until it gets worse. There are some super dope artists out there. Gibbs is my favorite rapper of this gen. KRIT is a very close second. But without the media push telling you about their greatness, they just fade to the background.
