Lol...its like u people have amnesia..he was supposed to drop the belt to Bryan at Over The Limit 2012 but he didn't want to let a Bryan have that spot so he turned heel insteasd and that's why the reign was extended. It was all just a gimmick for Rock to get the belt. Just look at his challengers after the Bryan/AJ story...horrible.

This is 100% correct. Vince wanted Punk to drop the belt to Daniel Bryan but Punk, who apparently never kisses ass according to him, begged Vince to let him keep the title for WEEKS. Finally Vince broke down and said fine, you will have to turn heel though.
