the label that suge founded is arguably the most influential label in rap history, if its not the #1 most influential its #2

name me one label that is more influential than death row? and yes death row is still influencing people in 2013, what rock do you live under?

i didnt say majority, but there are a lot of black that believe that, im not going by the poll, im talking about arguments ive had on here and in real life, a lot of black people are more comfortable with nikka than african american, what suge said is not an aberration or some far out belief

suge founded deathrow or was one of the founders of deathrow? like i said suge isn't influencing anyone. deathrow's influence was due to dre, snoop, pac, dpg, and other artists not suge. suge has no influence in the industry or rap game in 2013. prove otherwise without referring to the people who were really made deathrow what it was.

saying a lot of black people are more comfortable being called one thing vs the widely accepted and overwhelming alternative is misleading. the point is that it's an extreme minority of people who have that preference and not even worthy of the implication of "a lot" which insinuates it's more than just a very small amount of the total number.

im not sure what point you are trying to make, my point is that suge influenced dre, snoop and pac etc and then they had a large influence in the rap world, what is it that you thought i meant?

are you that ignorant about the history of rap music that you are not aware that suge signing pac to deathrow is one of the most impactful things that happened in rap history and that we are still impacted by that?

if i have to prove that to you then you dont know anything about hip hop

maybe you need to step back and re-write your whole argument because just at face value the whole notion of seperating suge from deathrow and deathrow artists is just:dahell:

suge has been one of the most influential persons in the history of rap music, if you dont realize that you dont know what you are talking about

im not going to argue against what you think i implied, i stand by what i said, a lot of black people agree with suge

wrong on all accounts. he ain't influencing no one in rap in 2013 and he ain't been a major player on the rap scene in more than a decade. and yes, he is a clown that most black people don't give a sh1t about or what he has to say anymore. also the majority of black people don't agree with what he said. don't let that fake azz poll fool you.

Hmm....so as a black man I dont have the right to determine how people address me? Im to accept racialized indignities from the dominant class, who conveniently have a centuries long history of abusive behavior towards certain categories of groups, because of the words of Suge Knight? Is this some of dat " American freedom" you always be talkin' 'bout?

word, basically basically..... Some people are just clueless on this issue.

I know this word gets thrown around alot, but the blacks that work on TMZ are fukking c00nz.
They are... not in how they act, but in what they accept... there is some borderline shyt thrown out on there that they shouldn't be sitting in a crowd of cac laughing about.

the issue is here is that anybody that listens to rap music doesnt have the moral standing to talk about this, that's how degenerate rap music has become, rap music been cosigned and certified the calling of black people nikkas under the banner of "freedom of speech" and "term of endearment" and "youth culture"

i have a problem with this because im against the use of nikka, why do you have a problem with this incident?

You've been? How did you know? cause I have had zero problems.

Yes. I lived in China on and off for years.

I was once reminded of Gene Wilder in Blazing Saddles when he dressed up with Cleavon Little in Klan outfits to infiltrate a group of criminals. Little put his black hand out of the white robe to sign up for the posse and Wilder told him he had to stop forgetting to wash up after weekly cross burnings. Wilder turned over Little's hand to show the palm and said, "see, it's coming off!"

I had a black classmate who had someone rub her black skin and asked if the darkness came off.

Dark skin is looked down on in Asia. It's the reason you see skin whitening creams and people walking around with umbrellas when it's 90 degrees and sunny out. Dark skin implies you're a poor, sun-soaked migrant worker. Light skin is a status symbol.

Chinese people are also very prejudice towards Africans because there are so many there trying to take advantage of opportunities. The Chinese don't like outsiders. There's a reason Zhongguo means Middle Kingdom. They thought and still think they're the center of the world. The streets were cleared of Africans in Beijing (later denied, but I was there) during the Olympics, especially in the popular foreigner district, Sanlitun, where many Africans sell drugs.

That's not racism, that's ignorance. Africans walk up to a white man for the first time in a villlage and rub his skin to see if the white comes off, that's racist to you? :what:

Wrong. Tan skin is looked down on by the older people because during the dynasty tans were associated with farmers, while skincare was associated with the royals, get it right. Has nothing to do with race. And even then, the new gen don't give a fukk about tan and white skin, it's mostly the older folks you see walking with umbrellas, they want to maintain their original yellow skin, which there is nothing wrong with.

Wrong again because I was there, and never denied access to any bars, that makes no logical sense when a shyt load of african nations were going to attend, they were trying to clear the streets of mongolians, the racial slur for mongolians translate to 'tan skin people'. Africans ARE discriminated against in BJ and in Guangzho, but we all know why, and it's mostly the nigerians, they commit too much crime which leaves a bad taste in the locals mouth, I don't blame them, heck Nigerians have a bad name on their own continent (See South Africa) they're well known scammers, you can't scam people and think shyt will be peaches and cream. As an african american (and yes they know the difference) I have not once gotten discriminated against.

Are you seriously trying to compare U.S racism to Chinese ignorance? :what: Pffffttt.
